Sparta, Wisconsin · Est. Artisan Bakery & Grocery
At Cafetofarmers Org, we bake the way our grandparents did: with local grain, real butter, and enough time for the flavor to develop on its own terms. Pair that with a curated selection of groceries from regional producers, and you have a corner of Sparta where quality isn't a promise—it's the standard.
Farm to table isn't a slogan here—it's the only way we know how to work.
Our Story
Cafetofarmers Org began with a simple conviction: that the people of Sparta deserve baked goods and groceries made with the same care and intention as the finest establishments elsewhere—without the pretense or the compromise.
Our bakers arrive before dawn. Our ingredients are sourced from Wisconsin farms and regional producers who share our insistence on quality. Every sourdough loaf is fermented for 36 hours. Every pastry is folded by hand. Every product on our grocery shelves is something we'd serve our own family.
We are not a franchise. We are not scaling because we'd rather perfect what we have than multiply what we haven't. This is a bakery and grocery store for people who notice the difference that honest work makes.

What We Offer
Two disciplines, one philosophy: only what is made well deserves a place at your table.
36-hour fermented sourdoughs, classic baguettes, rustic country loaves, and seasonal varieties—all baked fresh each morning using locally milled grain.
Butter croissants, pain au chocolat, fruit danishes, and tarts—each piece laminated and folded by hand, then baked to a shattering golden finish.
A carefully selected collection of regional cheeses, preserves, olive oils, specialty grains, and pantry staples from Wisconsin and beyond.
Single-origin coffees, small-batch teas, and seasonal drinks—paired thoughtfully with our pastries for the complete morning experience.
Visit us in Sparta to discover today's selection—our breads sell out, and we'd rather that than bake twice.
Find Our LocationThe Craft
In an age of accelerants and shortcuts, we have chosen the harder path. Our sourdough cultures are over a decade old—fed, tended, and passed down. Our dough rests overnight in temperature-controlled rooms. Our bakers arrive before first light because good bread cannot be rushed.
This is not nostalgia. It is chemistry, tradition, and respect for the people who will eat what we make. Every loaf, every pastry, every product on our shelves carries the weight of that commitment.
Cafetofarmers Org has become our family's Saturday ritual. The sourdough alone is worth the drive—but it's the feeling of walking into a place that genuinely cares about what it does that keeps us coming back.
